With our commitment to sponsoring and qualifying young people we are thinking outside the box. In addition to training and continued education in the companies of hameln group we also support qualification and education outside our companies – preferentially in our homeland Hameln-Bad Pyrmont.

"Voluntary social year in the cultural sector” at radio activ
The Hamelin local radio station offers young men the possibility to complete a Voluntary social year in the cultural sector instead of their military or alternative civilian service. This year is meant as an occupiational orientation. As well as military or alternative civilian service the Voluntary social year in the cultural sector is paid – expenses that the radio station cannot cover by itself.
The hameln group gmbh supports radio activ with a monthly donation for the Voluntary social year in the cultural sector. The group of companies thus promotes yung men in their occupational orientation.

FIT for apprenticeship – second round

Like last year, hameln group supported the second round of the FIT project for training the middle school and on 24th March, around 17 pupils were offered a a glimpse behind the scenes of hameln group.
The focus was concentrated more on the the focus was concentrated more on the vocational training in the hameln group in order to give pupils soon to start their final exams some ideas and information to help them when choosing a

The headmistress of the Sertürner middle school, Renate Kruppe, said in conclusion at the event "Thank you very much to everyone for your efforts. The pupils have been greatly impressed and helped.”

FIT for apprenticeship at hameln group
"FIT for apprenticeship at hameln group” was the name of the project which the Sertürner Realschule, one if Hamlin´s secondary schools, carried out for its pupils of the ninth grade. The project´s aim was an intensive occupational orientation. 20 girls and boys had prepared themselves intensivly to the start of their working lifes during interviews and job application trainings.
The hameln group supported the project and on the 17th of July has offered the pupils to get a taste of job life in a company.

Computer lab for Commercial Education Institute Hamelin
To provide their prospective industrial clerks a better computer training the Commercial Education Institute Hamelin had initiated the setup of a computer lab. As the school lacked not only the space but also the financial funds it depended on donations.
The hameln group gmbh supported the project finacially and was thus able to contribute to young people´s qualification and education.

Supporting youth work in the parish of Afferde
Since the start of 2008 the hameln group supports the youth work of the local lutheran parish of Afferde. The support is predominantly used to fund the qualification of young people to be team leaders. In the voluntary work in the parish those team leaders work in the child and youth care e.g. on excursion of conformands.
At the moment 15 young peaople aged 14 to 17 are being trained to be team leaders. Ten of them have already accompanied an excursion to Bodenwerder, another excursion is going to take them into the Bavarian Forest. During these excursions the young people can test their competence as a team leader and enhance those.
The annual financial support coming from the hamneln group allows a long-term and effective traning of young people to group leaders and is thus ontributes to a high quality childcare during excursions.
